Posh Spice

her nips are as wonky as paris hilton's eyes
check out this hilarious gossip site : http://thesuperficial.com/

and omg, what happened to Dakota Fanning? she needs to stop growing up, she was sooo adorable, and a damn great little actress. she's looking lanky and awkward as hell at 13...

and lessee...i've decided that i'm completely in love with Suri Cruise. and i fucking HATE that! TC is a fucking crackhead wingnut and katie's become a drone, but damn, that child is ridiculously beautiful. ridiculously. i knew she'd be good looking but damn.i feel like she needs rescuing. ha... brangelina's kid ain't as adorable as she should be... sorry, i read these damn gossip and entertainment mags/sites and constantly see these kids, so it's rather on the top of my mind...thank goodness i have friends out here with tiny little childrens that are super eeeeeeeeeeeee cute and i can play with them...and return them when i'm finished. ha...rent-a-kid... actually, someone mentioned that recently, kind of joking, but kind of not... neither of us has kids, but love them and that we can give them back after babysitting and such. so she said, hey, someone should start a rent-a-kid biz...but i spose parents might not think it's as cool of an idea... and seriously, if any of y'all have kids, this isn't some weird thing and don't be getting all offended and shit.

great, i think i hear that dude from Frontline or whatever knocking at my door. Hey! I only meant we wanted to babysit them! ya fuck...

The Piv

just wanted to let everyone know i came up with a new nickname for Jeremy "the Piv" Piven. there ya go...you heard it here first, so spread it on...thick.

what a bitch

i can't believe lindsay ratted me out like that. douche nozzle lost my nose candy.

a Hollywood Bowl

eww, this shit looks brownish green but it sure does wack me... went to the fantabulous Hollywood Bowl this week to see, we thought Christian Mc Bride - a jazz stand-up bassist. Turns out it was Jazz at the Movies and McBride was just playing among a whole heap of musicians. actually pretty cool. The Bowl is awesome for myriad reasons, including the gorgeous location (set into a hill, surrounded by trees or something), the sound is pretty kick ass anywhere you sit, AND you can bring whatever you want inside. well, no guns or such, but if you want a whole bottle of Jack and a small bottle of Coke, go right ahead! If you want to bring a 7 course dinner, bust it out. people picnic and drink and boogie to the tunes...or sit and listen peacefully, as the case may be....just watch out for the PeachFuzz who will insist that you not smoke your cigs or whatnot beneath the non-smoking sign, and instead, go "against the concrete wall down there by the bathrooms"... where does that small child get off telling me such things? ha

so i interviewed for a kick ass job this week, researching for a new/old game show...was offered the job and was so fucking excited, yet nerve-wracked b/c i had a pretty major schedule conflict- going out of town for 12 days to Alaska (to be fair to me !! it was only 7 actual working days) - that i hadn't told them about... so when i mentioned this tiny tidbit - and offered to work nights, weekends, and rent a laptop to work up there - they un-offered me the job... can you BELIEVE that they wouldn't let me take 7 days off from a 7 week gig? how fucking DARE they? seriously joking there...i'm completely crushed about the sitch, as i haven't had a decent job in ages and i certainly am NOT in the position to turn work down, but i was pretty sure they wouldn't go for it, b/c really, why would they? that's asking a LOT, and i know that. they were super nice about it, but i'm concerned that they'll remember that in the future and think negatively about me...and yeah, the other thing? well, i had a recommendation from a very highly placed individual at the Fox Reality network, and i'm freaking out hoping that said person isn't pissed about it, well, this person wouldn't be pissed, per se, but to burn that rope bridge wouldn't be a good thing. so now i'm back to hoping the stupid ass temp agencies would get me work, and doing a few hours at a product placement agency (getting her receipts organized, doing expenses and quickbooks. yiipppeeee)... alaska better be worth it (haha of course it will be, but right now, i'm thinking about that).

titleless or titelist

purple purple purple

well, i haven't posted in a while b/c i don't seem to have a lot to say...which is actually bullshit, b/c as usual, a million things are rattling around my brain but i'm too lazy to type or really, too frightened to put it in cyberspace, b/c hey, people might think i'm a nutter... but i guess i don't care about that too much as i don't know the people who read this at the moment, except for Sybil. boy what an interesting blog post so far....

Fuck, Yes!

First of all.... I see I'm getting gripes for not posting enough. Ha... i said that it might be a while between posts, just til i get into the habit of posting... i have zero discipline for the writing on my own (i.e. without someone paying me/having a deadline), which is part of the reason i haven't written the Great American Comedic Screenplay....

but that's not what this is about...this is about how freakin GIDDY (what a word) I am at the news i just heard...The Verve is back! they're back in the studio recording and i can't fucking believe it... if yer not sure who that is or why it matters...get a fucking clue! ha... yes, it's the band that did Bittersweet Symphony, but they are so very very much more. one of my all-time favorite bands and they broke up shortly after Urban Hymns (CD containing Bittersweet), which was devastating. their singer, richard ashcroft, has released solo cds, which - for the most part- are fine, but new Verve music????? i am grinning like the cheshire cat.... wooooooooo-hooooooooooooo!

coincidentally, the title of this post, Fuck, Yes!, also happens to be the title of one of my favorite books. it's out of print and written by an author using a pseudonym. "Reverend Wing F. Fing MD, PhD, DDS, LLD, DVD, and much, much more" is the listed author...if you can find yourself a copy, by all means - BUY it! or borrow it or whatnot...just read the thing. it's hilarious, but has some enlightening truths as well...also, sex with veggies...i love the book so much that i did a shitpot full of research to find out exactly who the real author is - there are plenty of rumors that Tom Robbins wrote it, but that's incorrect... i managed to locate the guy and contacted him. he was quite impressed by my researching skills and i was ecstatic to actually TALK to this author!!!...now i'm trying to get it made as a movie...too bad i don't know enough peeps in the film biz, but i'm gonna keep trying, just as soon as i get a job...stupid jobs... that is the worst thing about freelance tv production - always looking for new employment... have i already bitched about this?

hmmm...not sure about "proper" blog protocol - am i supposed to post a new post every time i have a new post, er topic?

fuck it...

know what else i hate about the production industry? the absolute FACT (me saying it's a fact makes it so) that the higher up you get, the crazier you must be...OK, i've actually met some higher ups who are cool, intelligent, and sane....but holy crap - some of my bosses have been 8 pins short of a strike...hmm, does that even make sense?... complete nutters...asspods...douche nozzles (although you don't have to be insane to be a douche nozzle).

in about 90 minutes, i am heading off to the house of blues (i got dem spendy ticket blues) on the gorgeous (!!@) Sunset Strip to see another of my top bands - the band from Philthy, PA - the Disco Biscuits! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY... they don't come out here nearly enough...then again, i see way more music here (often with Special Guests) than i would most places, like say, the middle of the country, which btw, should *not* be called the midwest, as it's no where near the west. mid-east is better, but the connotations suck. how about the great cornfield in the middle of the country... hahahah...i'm really not trying to offend anyone who lives there, seriously. whenever i tell peeps i grew up in the Nati, i usually get the -did you grow up on a farm- question. wtf? cincy is an actual city people, not a field of crops and animal crap.... OK, well, people are filing in over here to enjoy a delicious Newcastle before the show. mmmmmm

hey! it's 4-20

8...ugh, i can't read the digital clock without my glasses...damn, i missed it...

nahhh, don't need it to be 420...that's sooooooo last decade...heh heh...

let's talk about more shit i like...besides delicious pot....hmm, how about the Vaporizor? it's the most anti-social smoking device ever. but that's just cuz it takes a long time per personal sesh. great for your lungs; it doesn't burn the stuff, it just heats it up, which means...you can RECYCLE it!!! you know i love to recycle.... cook with the remnants : ) ...ya know what's even better? the volcano. too spendy ($350-600) for my current income, but faaaaaack, it'll rip ya a new one...is this too much drug talk? will the department of

shit...gotta run

anyone else have a problem with this being a fundraiser for Live Earth, yet only 20% of the amount paid goes to that charity?

WTF????????

#2 hee hee

stop bullying me Y-eye (aka Sibyl or however ya spell it)! hahah...see this is why i never started one of these b/c i go forever between entries....i will try to stop, er well, post more....

so, just got back from seeing Transformers...you know, transformers, more than meets the eye; transformers, big ole toy ad not in disguise... yeah, i'm surprised i went too. what's even more surprising is, i didn't totally hate it. it was way too fucking long, and the dialogue was ridiculous, especially considering how "advanced" these beings were...but it wasn't as bad as i thought. and damnit if that stupid song isn't stuck in my head. great...oh, and the My Little Pony product placement? Wow Michael Bay, you're a genius. i spose the worst part was the fact that there was a guy behind us who was translating the movie for his paramour... nice.

So belated happy birthday to the following:
July 4th...AMERICA...fuck yeah...coming to save the motherfucking day yeah
July 5th...my youngest bro is now 23 (whoa...Y-eye and I used to take him grocery shopping when we were in high school and he was 3 or 4...he had a habit of screaming FUCK really loudly in the middle of an aisle... why? well, there is quite an age gap between him and the rest of us siblings. my older brother decided that one of Brendan's first words should be a cuss word... Y-eye and I would just crumple to the ground in hysterics while my mom crumbled to the ground in embarrassment...)
July 6th- my long time friend, TLC

ya know, this entry is ridiculously boring... i've had a heap of things fly through my brain, shit good to write down, but i'm never sitting at the computer when that happens...and to go back and try and remember something funny and write it later is a waste of brain power and really, who knows how much of that i have left?

so this past weekend i was hanging at my friend, SC's, house up in Simi Valley. we met while standing in line to buy Black Crowes tickets way back in 1998 and have been "together" since then....anyway, she and her husband took over her childhood house from her mom. they've got a pool...3BR...kick ass surround sound...no A/C...and her next-door neighbor is a child sex offender... yup, she decided, for shits and giggles, that she'd check out that website. then she saw dots in her area...neighborhood...fucking A right next door?... he looks rather average- don't they often? but his sister and her KIDS live with him, as well as some other peeps....sweet

in answer to one of the comments from my last post...i don't wear panties

i prefer floss

wtf? This is my blog?

so uh this is my first ever blog entry...this color isn't working....is this better? guess i need to see it on the actual page... anyway, this is my first ever entry. i decided to try this shit out after much nudging, er, shoving, by my friend in the Nati, Y-Eye.... i guess i'm supposed to introduce myself to all you readers who don't know me. all you readers. b/c there will be heaps of you...first of all, i use ellipses all the time, which can probably get annoying after a while. so stop reading if you're not into ellipses. they help me separate my thoughts, which is good b/c they often come in rapid tangential form...

ok, well, i live in the concrete jungle with the sparkly lights and plastic stars. Los Angeles. i'm trying to eek out a living writing for any medium that wants me, but mostly for cable television...stuff like the Travel Channel, HGTV, and DIY...mostly shit i would never watch on my own time...i also write articles for magazines and websites (health, music), and i did some copywriting for a cool company called snikiddy. they manufacture organic snacks for kids, low-fat, low-sugar, but yummy...and they promote a healthy lifestyle. the coolest thing i've done was to produce and co-write - with my husband, Skooch McGhee - a roast of 17 celebrities who participated in the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. we worked our asses off, creating and writing sketches, buying props, stage directing...and boatloads of other stuff. the most creative input i've had...ever. we got George Lucas and Aisha Tyler to laugh, and i am damn proud of it. yes, i just name dropped. i didn't say we were friends, i just said they laughed at shit we wrote for/about them....freelance writing is a pain in the ass for the most part, mainly b/c it's so fucking hard to get a job. ...oh yeah, that's something else about me - i love love love to curse...and although i am a grammar/spelling/punctuation um...can i say "nazi"?...fiend, i still use no caps in my blog. my blog, my rules...so, yeah, i fancy myself a writer, but i haven't had a paying production gig in, well, longer than i care to admit....anyone hiring? i promise i'll use caps when necessary!

lessee, i'm married (3 yrs in september) and my husband is the coolest, hottest, greatest person on the planet. gushgushgush.... i do luuuuuv him (ewww, i just spelled it with multiple u's, as in "yews")... we met here in the jungle mainly b/c we dig the same music - jammy stuff, jazz and blues, and such, bands like the Grateful Dead, the Phish, the Disco Biscuits, the Black Crowes, the Verve, yes I know the Phish isn't really "the" phish...Galactic, U2, and a bunch of classic rock too. Just no Steely Dan, Journey, or Lynyrd Skynrd or however the fuck you spell that name...he's in the entertainment biz too, works with celebs for special events and such...

went to New Zealand for 3 weeks for our honeymoon... there's a reason that place is referred to as the God Zone (aka God's Own)....holy shit that whole country is spectacular. a whole 'nother entry... love to travel; i'm a lifelong victim of wanderlust. wish we had a heap of cash so we could just travel... turned Skooch into a travel fiend as well- went to Kauai last year and we're heading to Alaska this September. hoping to see the aurora...and a wolf... wolves are my favorite animals, but i am crazy about the big predators - you know, lions and tigers and bears, fuck yes!... big time green freak as well. i hate *hate* when people are too fucking lazy to recycle or too lame to care about nature or the copious amounts of waste we produce. ugh.... and yes, i have to sit in traffic for hours in this city, wasting gas and oil, and i feel horrible about it...getting a hybrid...another entry...

grew up in the Nati (cincinnati) with three brothers, one of whom lives here, one is finishing school at OSU, and the other is in law school in Cleveland. Go Buckeyes...well, go Ducks really, as that is where I went to school (University of Oregon in gorgeous Eugene)...football!!! i'm a Green Bay Packers cheesetard. love that damn team...love that damn Favre...also a Ravens fan. Skooch got me rooting for them. RayRay is one of my favorite players....apparently i do use caps on occasion...i also follow Terrapins men's basketball, hate Dook and the Tar Heels, and heartily root against the NFL's Lions, Bears, Vikes, 49ers, and Broncos. yes, i have reasons for each team hatred, but i'm not going into that now...

my post name- lost sailor is one of my favorite Grateful Dead songs, and sweet justice is a phrase i came up with to use when excited! as in, hey, i just started blogging! sweet justice!

one last thing.... in case you haven't figured it out, i'm usually dripping (heh) with sarcasm...at least it sounds sarcastic in my head...

cheers!
